Derrick Campbell, Guitar and Bass

Derrick has been playing the guitar for twenty-six years now, and has been worked as a guitar teacher for the last eighteen years. He's also played in a variety of original and cover bands, and written a number of rock instrumental songs.  

Derrick also plays in a cover band called Sound Asylum. You can check them out at www.soundasylumband.com for information about where they’re playing, and to see and hear some audio and video clips.  

When he isn't teaching guitar lessons or performing with Sound Asylum, Derrick also works as a sub guitarist for original and cover bands. In the past few years, he's done last minute sub gigs for P.D. Rogers, Woot, Scarecrow, Dick and Jane, Grumpy Jones, and MotherFunk – all top notch cover bands.
